The idea of starting Bellana was born when our founder Janice had her first child and then after having her second child, it was solidified that this was something she really wanted to do.

Janice wanted to create a baby/kids clothing & accessories brand, that combined all her personal values into the brand being; family, beliefs, culture, heritage and inclusiveness.

Janice has designed unique and beautiful patterns/designs that are Samoan, Polynesian and New Zealand inspired. Janice being half Samoan and half New Zealand kiwi, she wanted to share part of her with the world.

Inclusiveness is so important to Janice in all aspects of life, she believes no one should ever feel left out or that they don't belong and so she hopes that every baby, kid, parent or family member feels included, a sense of belonging when rocking our Bellana garments, as it's for everyone!
